The Positive Parenting Workshop is a weekly program offered to parents that provides a practical foundation of knowledge and strategies that will equip them in handling any situation that comes their way.

There is so much information about parenting readily available to us that it is easy to feel uncertain about which direction we should take. What is the best approach to discipline? What are natural consequences and how can I teach them? How can I find balance between setting appropriate boundaries, while maintaining closeness to my child? These are questions that we all have as parents and the overload of conflicting research at our fingertips can leave us feeling a bit unsure.

The Positive Parenting Workshop is built upon the foundation provided by the Positive Parenting Program to provide practical and strength-based strategies that will equip you in handling any parenting situation that comes your way. Using parenting and attachment theories, social learning and cognitive behavioral skills, developmental theory, and providing applicable behavioral management tools, this workshop will help you find your unique parenting style and voice.

Our group is 60-minutes, weekly, lead by a marriage and family therapist, where we focus on what you need most. Together we will explore assertive, but kind communication, coping skills for challenging moments with your kiddo and process the ups and downs of modern parenting. The group serves as a safe, honest and growing space to learn from and encourage each other to turn struggles into strengths!

Together, we can solve anything.
