JOIN DR. SURINA MAZZOLA FOR A FREE VIRTUAL PRESENTATION DISCUSSING PARENTING THROUGH THE PANDEMIC. USE THE FORM BELOW TO REGISTER.
Parenting has never been a walk in the park, and now with a global pandemic and a shelter in place order, we’re not even sure if we can go to the park anymore!
Our children are transitioning from traditional schooling to homeschooling, parents are working from home, juggling important calls while kids scream and pets bark loudly in the background – all while navigating our own anxieties around what is happening! Between trying to keep our families calm, ourselves from growing too many grey hairs, and grasping at any semblance of our normal routines, we are finding ourselves in unfamiliar territory!
We’ll discuss how to talk to your kiddos about what is happening in a healthy, age appropriate manner, developing structure and schedules beneficial for all members of the family, and guide you through activities that will keep your kiddos busy.
Our kiddos are watching us! It’s time to model for them that in the midst of distress, anxiety, and uncertainty, we can lean in to one another and learn, progress, and develop positive coping skills.
Together with humor, love, and compassion, we can do this.
